Specifications & selection.
- G: protective cover; F: fan; K variant identified in the official naming chart.
- 150 W / 200 W configurations for the guarded fan versions.
- Vertical 35 mm DIN-rail mounting with terminals at the bottom.
| Model | Configuration 1 | Configuration 2 | Supply |
|---|---|---|---|
| CSH3B-GF2150K | 150 W | 200 W | 220–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz |
| CSH3B-GFD24150K | 150 W | 200 W | 24 VDC |
| CSH3B-GFD12150K | 150 W | 200 W | 12 VDC |
| Parameter | Published information |
|---|---|
| Heating-power condition | ±20%, ambient 25 °C, vertical installation, good indoor convection; excludes fan power |
| Construction | Aluminum heat-transfer body, protective metal cover and ball-bearing axial fan |
| Illustrative W × H × L / mass | 70 × 145 × approximately 110 mm / approximately 1.10 kg |
| Terminals | Tool-free spring terminals; strip 8–9 mm |
| Conductor range | Text lists 18–12 AWG and 0.5–2.5 mm²; confirm equivalent approved range |
| Dielectric withstand | 1500 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 1 minute |
| Insulation resistance | 100 MΩ at 500 VDC |
| Operation / storage | −45 to +70 °C / −45 to +120 °C, no condensation or icing |
| Humidity / enclosure | ≤90% RH / IP20 |
| Heating-element life claim | ≥50,000 hours at 25 °C and rated voltage; confirm test basis |
| Fan life claim | ≥30,000 hours at 25 °C; confirm exact fan specification |
| Item | What requires confirmation |
|---|---|
| K heating element | Naming graphic: ceramic PTC; body text: nickel-chromium — confirm supplied construction |
| Electrical safety class | Text claims Class II but also requires a grounded metal cover; obtain the actual safety-class and earthing instructions |
| Fan supply | Selection chart supports high-voltage AC and low-voltage DC variants; generic DC-only wording is inconsistent |
| Fan-failure protection | Text claims automatic power limiting but supplies no threshold or verified circuit; do not rely on it as an independent protective function |
Selection & installation notes
- Do not choose wiring, earthing or protection from the conflicting generic description. Obtain the model-specific CSH3B MTC wiring document and safety classification before installation.
- Switch heating configurations only with all supplies isolated and exactly as the approved wiring document specifies.
- The source requires ON/OFF control and prohibits phase-angle or PWM power regulation for these configurations.
- Keep airflow openings clear, install vertically and allow hot surfaces to cool before service. The cover does not make the heater safe to touch.
- The text recommends at least 100 mm between heaters; verify all clearances, starting current and protective-device selection with the exact unit. Its generic 5–7× inrush and ≥2× protection advice are not sufficient for circuit design.
