Selection & installation notes
- The measurement range does not expand the complete-device operating range. Observe −20 to +60 °C and non-condensing conditions for installation.
- The protocol table permits temperature values up to +125 °C, while the technical measurement specification ends at +120 °C. Confirm the sensor revision before using the extended range.
- Decode negative temperature and calibration as signed 16-bit integers. The example frame includes CRC; do not append a second CRC. Recalculate CRC after changing any bytes.
- Assign unique addresses before connecting multiple units. After a baud change, verify with a read at the target rate before repeating a write; a missing reply does not prove the write failed.
- Use an appropriate RS485 bus, termination and EMC grounding scheme; keep signal wiring away from power cables. IP20 requires a protected, dry installation. The official page currently provides no usable product photograph.
