Selection & installation notes
- ESDS detects guard position and does not provide the ESDL electromagnetic guard-locking function. Do not apply the ESDL 1300 N locking figure to ESDS.
- Verify the exact positive-opening contacts, actuator engagement and complete machine safety circuit. No PL or SIL rating is established by this page.
- Use only the matched actuator, mount it securely and prevent unintended defeat. The switch must not serve as a mechanical door stop.
- Confirm the current electrical categories, gland thread, terminal torque and installation drawing. IP65 requires correct seals and glands and does not permit prolonged immersion or pressure washing.
- Isolate power before wiring or adjusting the head; verify contact transitions and interlock behavior after installation.
