Selection & installation notes
- The page title and photographed 1000 V units use VU1-DC40; the selection chart uses VU1-PV40 for 1000/1500 V versions. Confirm the complete current part number and label before ordering.
- The detailed label values above apply only to the pictured 1000 V units. They must not be extended to other voltage variants. Surge waveform, protection coordination and certification documents are not established by these photographs.
- Select voltage, pole arrangement and protective-earth connection to suit the actual DC/PV system. Confirm maximum system voltage, prospective fault current, backup protection and wiring requirements using the exact datasheet.
- The source does not specify remote-contact ratings, wire size, terminal torque, outline dimensions or operating temperature. Request these before installation.
- Service with the circuit isolated. Replace modules displaying the red condition indication according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
