Obtain the outline, mounting cutout and wiring drawing for the exact model. Check available space on both sides of the enclosure before installation.
Keep the heat path clear
Follow the approved installation instructions for airflow and hot-side heat rejection. Confirm orientation and clearance for the cabinet layout.
Specify the complete assembly
Match the DC supply and controller to the selected cooler and application. Confirm wiring, accessories and the scope of supply in the quotation.

Application questions
Is cooling capacity the same as power consumption?
No. Cooling capacity describes heat removed from the enclosure; power consumption is electrical input. Select with both values and confirm performance at the actual operating temperatures.
What does TS mean?
TS identifies the HETA through-wall configuration with stainless-steel protection around the external hot-side fan. TS and TP differ in the fan positions relative to their protective covers; TP places both fans inside the covers. The configuration name does not by itself specify an IP rating or an overtemperature trip and reset function.
Are a power supply and temperature controller included?
The scope of supply is confirmed in the quotation. Specify the cooler, power supply and controller requirements separately when requesting a complete assembly.
What information is needed to select a model?
Provide the maximum ambient temperature, target enclosure temperature, estimated heat load, available DC supply and cabinet dimensions. Include the quantity and any space or installation constraints.
Can an ETC80 controller be used with this cooler?
The ETC80 family may be considered as an optional controller. Confirm the exact controller variant, voltage, output capability, wiring and supply scope for the selected cooler. A family reference does not establish compatibility or inclusion.
